Mercy Dental Missions teams up with Mercy Dental Group volunteers to host the annual Day of Mercy charitable dentistry event. This special event aims to provide free, essential dental care to vulnerable populations within our community.

The Heart
Many vulnerable populations, including the homeless, refugees, and struggling children and families, face significant barriers to dental care. We felt called to step in and fill the gap by providing compassionate care to those who need it most - without judgement and without cost.
The Hands
All 13 local Mercy Dental Group practices come together as one to dedicate their time and gifts to serve our community. Our goal is to embody the spirit of Mercy in every patient we serve. We proudly live our values of community engagement and compassionate care while addressing the oral health needs of those who don't have access to regular dental services.

The Help
Since its inception in 2023, the Day of Mercy event has provided over 475 dental procedures valued at more than $90,000 in donated dental services to over 115 individuals in need. The event showcases the power of community collaboration, with volunteers offering their time and expertise to bring life-changing care to those who need it most.
While Mercy Dental Group and Mercy Dental Missions work closely together, it's important to note that Mercy Dental Missions remains an independent nonprofit organization. Mercy Dental Group offers vital executive-level guidance, best-practice systems, access to group buying power, as well as some financial support, but we do not fund or sustain the mission on our own. This partnership has significantly strengthened Mercy Dental Group's reach and capacity, however Mercy Dental Missions remains entirely dependent on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and grant funders to keep this mission alive and serving those in need.
