Founder and CEO of Mercy Dental Group, Dr. Daniel Tataje, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Entrepreneur of the Year Midwest Award by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US).

Now in its 41st year, the Entrepreneur Of The Year program honors entrepreneurs whose innovations drive economic growth and help shape the future of business.

Why Dr. Daniel Tataje Was Selected as a Midwest Finalist

An independent panel of judges selected Dr. Dan among 37 finalists from 30 companies based on their entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, company growth and lasting impact in building long-term value.

This year’s Midwest finalists represent Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin across all industries, including technology, consumer products, manufacturing, finance and more.

Regional Winners to Be Announced Soon

Regional award winners will be announced on June 11 during a celebration in Chicago. Winners will advance to national consideration at the Strategic Growth Forum® in November.
